I actually like all three starters in the game and I cannot wait for there to be a whole of merch for them. We also have Quaxly who is a sassy looking duck that I am also a pretty big fan of and then we have Sprigatto who is another cat like Pokémon, but it is all green. My personal favorite has to be Fuecoco who is an awesome looking fire crocodile and whose name lends more credit to the game being set in Spain. Usually, there is a clear favorite, but with Pokémon Scarlet, there are three starters that people seem really split on as there is not a bad one in the bunch. One of the most exciting things, when a new Pokémon game is announced, is who will the starters be. Many detectives have pointed at the architecture in the game and have said that it has a very Spanish style to it all. From the trailer that we saw for Pokémon Scarlet, we can assume that it has a Spanish setting as the game has a very Spanish feel to it. While neither Nintendo or Game Freak have revealed much about the new region. This game looks like it is the next evolution of this open world formula so it is very exciting to think what Game Freak has in store for us now that they have two open world Pokémon games under their belt. One of the things that I am most excited about with Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet as well is that they are taking the same open world formula that they started with Sword and Shield and then made even better with Pokémon Legends Arceus. So getting another brand new game in the franchise is awesome, especially as it looks like they are building on what they have done with the last couple of games. I am sure not many of us actually expected this to be a thing as we have had a lot of games in the series, especially in the last 12 to 18 months. Pokémon Scarlet is the latest and greatest game in the series to come from the big n.
